  • Aaron Duerksen

    Chief Executive Officer

    As CEO of VIZI Healthcare, Aaron is passionate about building a technology-enabled community care platform that improves the lives of senior populations burdened by complex conditions and allows providers to more effectively shift to better business models.

    Prior to founding VIZI, Aaron created the population health management practice for Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH); developing pharmacist led patient management solutions. Additionally, Aaron was General Manager and a founding senior executive of the Intel/GE joint venture, Care Innovations, where he led their global disease management business for digital health platforms and new care models supporting home-based early interventions. Aaron has held a variety of leadership roles at GE Healthcare (NYSE: GE) where he helped create improved diagnostic centers in North America and China. Aaron holds a B.A. from Boston College and trained at the GE Management Development Institute, Crotonville, NY. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has a history of developing high performing global teams.

    Chief Information Officer

    As CIO of VIZI Healthcare, David is focused on ensuring VIZI’s information and technology investments are aligned with its strategic objectives and providing a clear competitive advantage for future business opportunities. He is responsible for all VIZI’s technology needs and works to ensure its products delivers both operational and clinical excellence.

    Mr Decker is an accomplished Health Care Information Technology executive with more than 30 years of innovative, visionary and change management leadership where he has established a solid track record of success by introducing applied innovations in the use of cloud, mobile and business intelligent technologies. He has significant experience integrating merged companies, new business start-up, product development and operational support within the healthcare industry and specifically Government Programs. Prior to joining VIZI Healthcare, Mr Decker has managed all areas of technology and has held numerous senior leadership positions. Prior CIO/CTO positions include Independent Living Systems, UnitedHealth Care Government Programs, Evercare and Lifemark. Leadership responsibilities included managing more than 600+ employees, over 150 million budget, and supporting 14.5 billion in revenue. Mr Decker is a six sigma executive green belt, and holds degrees in Business Information Systems, Accounting and Economics from Illinois State University.

  • Kenneth Goss

    Chief Operations Officer

    Ken is Chief Operations Officer of VIZI Healthcare. In his role, Ken is focused on building operational efficiency and institutional value across all aspects of VIZI®’s clinical, technical and commercial operations.

    Ken was a business process engineering leader at GE Healthcare where he integrated 65 distribution and manufacturing entities onto a single ERP reducing workload by 20 percent. Following a progression of operational and commercial leadership roles within GE Healthcare, including commercial operations manager of a $554M business unit, Ken became Vice President of Sales Development for a private equity holding of Centerbridge Partners L.P. where he was responsible for driving revenue growth and establishing operating mechanisms. Previously, Ken held leadership roles at McKesson Health IT, Zimmer Biomet and was also a founding team member of an Intel/GE joint venture, Care Innovations, serving as Global Director of Business Development. Ken holds a B.A. from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University. Ken trained at the GE Management Development Institute, Crotonville, NY and is a GE Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Ken competes annually in the Malibu triathlon.

  • Scott Lipsitz

    EVP, Corporate Development

    Scott is the Chief Development Officer VIZI Healthcare. In his role, Scott is focused on key partnership development, capital formation and M&A initiatives.

    Scott is a founding partner of Rainmaker Capital, a San Francisco-based investment bank providing M&A services and transaction services to emerging technology companies in media, communications and healthcare since 1995. A seasoned entrepreneur, Scott has been involved in and with a wide array of companies and transactions from early to late stage. He was a founder of eScene Networks (acquired by Inktomi), LicenseStream (acquired by Wright Media), and Driver Digital Holdings among many others. He has consulted with and built the corporate development infrastructure for both public and private enterprises. Prior to joining VIZI Healthcare, Scott was a Senior Vice President of the Cloud Services group at Ribbon Communications (NASDAQ:RBBN) formerly Genband, a JP Morgan Chase company and a leader in network transformation serving over 1200 carrier clients. At Genband, Scott led a global team focused on providing real time communications solutions to major carriers and enterprises with an emphasis on embedded communications, unified communications and OTT consumer services. Scott holds a BA from the University of Michigan and enjoys playing electric and upright bass in local clubs throughout San Francisco.

  • Steve Wright

    Chief Commercial Officer

    Steve is Chief Commercial Officer of VIZI Healthcare. In his role, Steve is responsible for designing and implementing VIZI®’s commercial strategy.

    Prior to joining VIZI®, Steve held a number of VP and General Management positions in Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Most recently, Steve was the Western US VP of Sales for Accuray, Inc. where he led sales of the Tomotherapy and CyberKnife products and created Accuray's Alternate Channel Distribution model. Previously, Steve had a distinguished 18- year career at GE Healthcare where he held a variety of General Management roles in Regional and Zone Sales, Alternate Channels, Commercial Operations & Programs, Sales Quality and Product Sales & Marketing. Steve served as the Vice President of Corporate National Accounts for Siemens Medical Systems where he led Siemens sales strategy to all GPOs, IDNs, for-profit and not-for-profit health systems and Shared Services customers in the US. Steve holds a B.S. from Clemson University in Management and Healthcare Administration and an M.B.A. in International Business from Loyola University Chicago.

  • Deborah Johnson

    Director of Clinical Services

    Deborah is Director of Clinical Services and comes to VIZI HEALTHCARE with 3 decades of advancing managerial and administrative experience in critical care and hospital administrative roles.

    As a tenured emergency nurse, Deborah brings strong passion and dedication to implement clinical transformation initiatives in the delivery of healthcare to our chronically ill senior populations. Previously, Deborah was key developer of a multi-pharmaceutical research program at Southwest Kidney Institute studying drug outcomes related to ESRD and chronic kidney disease patients. Additionally, Deborah was House Supervisor at IASIS Healthcare where she led population health management efforts and multiple electronic health record integration programs. Deborah believes in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to senior care that begins with fostering a trusting, supportive environment to empower the individual and their family’s participation in healthcare. She is meticulous in process and quality improvement in providing patient care, education and program development for precise and timely data measures. Starting from initial patient contact through the care continuum, Deborah and her team are trained and held to a high standard of dedication to providing outstanding compassion, knowledge and resources to each member under care.

  • Dr. Mike Gambla

    Advisor

    Mike is a licensed physician and entrepreneur with a diverse background in practice management, medical device, pharmaceutical, and data analytics.

    VIZI welcomes Dr. Gambla to our clinical advisory board where he will help us continually optimize the intersection of clinical workflow and technology enablement. Mike completed his MD residency at The Ohio State University, and has held numerous roles as an administrator, including Chief of Urology at Riverside Methodist Hospital and President of Central Ohio Urology Group, a large independent group practice. In addition to his administrative experience, Mike founded Columbus Urology Research that conducted over 80 clinical phase one to phase four trials in both pharmaceutical and medical device verticals. Mike has held multiple advisory positions with Allergan, Astellas, Avadel, Bayer, Boston Scientific, Dendreon, GTX, and Pfizer. He is a founding partner and Chief Medical Officer for Medical Search Technologies, a medical text data mining software.

  • Craig Gomulka

    Strategic Advisor

    Craig Gomulka is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for Health Fidelity, a growth-stage health IT company focused on technology-based risk analytics for health plans and risk-bearing providers.

    At Health Fidelity, Craig oversees the Finance, Human Resources, and Legal teams and is responsible for financial oversight in all areas of the organization, financial planning and analysis, forecasting and budgeting, financial and key performance indicator (KPI) development and reporting, and risk management. Craig’s responsibilities also include corporate development, governance, board management, corporate strategy, and partnership structuring and negotiation.

    Before joining Health Fidelity, Craig served as an Executive in Residence at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (“UPMC”) focusing on business and corporate development, strategic partnerships, and supporting existing portfolio companies. At UPMC, Craig led the acquisition of RxAnte and also worked on developing business plans and strategies around identified health IT products and capabilities built within UPMC to spin out as new companies, or to license or divest the technology to external entities.

    Prior to UPMC, Craig was a Vice President at Highmark Health. Highmark Health is a $18 billion health and wellness company and one of the largest health insurers and providers in the United States. For Highmark Health, Craig was responsible for providing business and corporate development support for business units on various initiatives including partnership structures and strategy, joint ventures, vendor assessments and valuations in addition to identifying and executing strategic investments.

    Craig holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Colgate University, and a Master of Industrial Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Craig has also earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
